The concept, "paradigm shift" may be less familiar to some readers than to
others. Here is a description of what this term means and what it has to do with the
mission of The Alethia Foundation.
In this moment of history, at the dissolution of one paradigm, the
Alethia mission is the conscious shaping of a new one.
As an unwieldy, proliferating body of new knowledge breaks down the old points
of view, rendering obsolete much that was previously taken for granted, it creates a unique opportunity to make a case for a Christian worldview. Christian
theology is capable of organizing and integrating much of this new knowledge into a new
picture of reality, consistent with the Christian, Trinitarian confession of
faith Whatever other perspectives or interpretations make their way into the market place of ideas, we want to ensure that an enlightened Christian one is among them.
